My name is Kathleen Marques and I am a Professional Photographer based in Providence, Rhode Island.

I have won an award for RI Monthly's 30th Best of Rhode Island for Photographer in 2023. I have over one hundred 5 star reviews on Google.  I have been published for magazines. I have worked in so many different environments and fields. I am blessed, thankful and grateful to be able to achieve these things. I have also started to try out doing short videography. There's no limit when it comes to being a creative!

I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a major in Psychology and minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I was in the education field for 10 years. I have been taking photographs professionally and building my portfolio for over 10 years. I have always had a camera in my hand since I was a child. While attending URI, I was able to take Black and White film photography and then a creative photography class where I had to purchase my first DSLR. I chose Canon and have never changed sides. I was able to discover one of my passions and decided to build over the years. In 2018, I decided I wanted to do it full-time and switch up my lifestyle of a 9-5. It's been the most rewarding decision.

I specialize in all variety’s of the industry. I do work indoor, outdoor, wedding, portrait, family, children, parties, event photography and anything you can think of. My studio Collaborative Creations in located in Lincoln, RI. I have a keen eye with a variety of techniques. I love to travel as well. I’m Inspired by my surroundings and life experiences. While constantly observing my surroundings and feeling the energy around me, I capture the aura of the moment, ease people into their comfort and tell stories through my images. I create a lasting impression and photographs to last a lifetime!
